Cations are positively charged ions; this is because the atom looses an electron during a reaction, therefore having fewer electrons than protons. Accounting and inventory information, such as daily, weekly, monthly, etc. sales, current inventory needs, cost of inventory, profit margins, employee records, sales tax, etc. should also be stored.
